Earlier this year, Richard Harris stepped down as the Executive Director of Truth & Liberty to pursue the next calling God has placed before him. I am grateful for Richard’s faithful leadership and the lasting contributions he made. He continues to be a friend to the ministry while advancing the work of Richard Harris Ministries.

I know many of you have wondered who would lead Truth & Liberty into this next chapter. Well, praise God, I’m pleased to announce that Drew Williams has accepted the position.

Drew is no stranger to this ministry or its mission. He began serving in the phone center in 2011 and has since held several positions. Since 2022, he has served as Truth & Liberty’s Director of Operations, demonstrating integrity, discipline, humility, and steady leadership. I believe he is the right man to take on this responsibility.

Long before Drew joined the ministry, he answered the call to serve our country. In 1977, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. During his service, Drew trained as a boat coxswain and served through rough seas, severe weather, and other physically demanding conditions.

The Coast Guard’s motto is Semper Paratus—Always Ready. I believe that description fits Drew well. He has spent his life preparing to serve, accepting responsibility, and remaining at his post when circumstances became difficult. Those qualities will serve him well as he steps into this new role.

But experience and leadership ability are only part of what Drew brings to this position. More importantly, he has a clear conviction about the direction of Truth & Liberty and understands the spiritual need facing our nation.

When asked about his vision for the ministry, Drew emphasized that Truth & Liberty will remain committed to educating, unifying, and mobilizing believers. He also explained that this mission must begin by helping Christians develop a biblical worldview grounded in the entirety of Scripture.

“We don’t just look at one verse or two verses,” Drew said. “We get the whole counsel of God’s Word to support what we have to say. It’s not good enough to tell people, ‘You should vote this way.’ We have to help people come to a place where they are thinking biblically and drawing boundaries based on biblical principles to protect their families—and that includes how they vote.”

I tell you, that is exactly what the Body of Christ needs. God’s Word has to be our final authority—not only inside the four walls of the church, but in every area of our lives. We cannot separate our faith from the way we raise our families, conduct our businesses, educate our children, or participate in government. A true biblical worldview affects everything.

Drew continued, “In Philippians 3:14, Paul says, ‘I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.’ We don’t want to just answer a call. We want to answer the high call. We want to pursue God’s highest purpose for this ministry and encourage people to do the same in their own walk with the Lord. That’s what has been stirring in my heart for the future of Truth & Liberty.”

I believe that conviction will help guide Truth & Liberty under Drew’s leadership. We aren’t here simply to comment on what is happening in our nation. We are here to equip believers with the truth and help them put that truth into action.

Truth & Liberty will continue producing content that clearly explains what we believe and demonstrates how those convictions are drawn from God’s Word. We also plan to create more opportunities for our members to engage with our hosts and ministry leaders, ask questions, build relationships, and grow as a community.

Alex McFarland and Bishop E. W. Jackson will continue serving as hosts of the Truth & Liberty Show. Both men bring decades of ministry experience, a firm commitment to Scripture, and the courage to address the issues facing our nation. Drew’s leadership, together with the biblical insight and strong voices Alex and E.W. bring to the program, will help Truth & Liberty reach, equip, and mobilize more believers across America.

Truth & Liberty will continue its local efforts through Transform Colorado, helping individuals and communities produce real change. At the same time, our broader mission will resonate with believers across the nation.

America desperately needs a Church that understands its authority, refuses to retreat from the public square, and stands without apology for faith, family, and freedom. If we want to see our nation change, the Body of Christ must rise up, believe the Word of God, and act on what we believe. This is not a time to shrink back.

As Executive Director—and drawing on his years of Coast Guard service—Drew will help steer the ship, providing the leadership and direction needed to advance our mission. He brings a servant’s heart, a veteran’s resolve, and a commitment to the authority of Scripture. I am grateful that he has accepted this responsibility, and I ask you to pray for him and stand with us as we move forward.

Please join me in welcoming Drew Williams as the new Executive Director of Truth & Liberty.

Praise God, I believe the best is yet to come. Together, we will continue educating, unifying, and mobilizing the Body of Christ—and we will not back down.
